The Giles T. Brown Student Project and Research Symposium is an annual event in Spring semester that provides an opportunity for OCC students from any discipline to showcase curricular or extra-curricular work that they have done with OCC faculty and/or staff mentorship. Presentations can take the form of a 15-minute oral presentation with powerpoint or google slides, a poster presentation, an exhibition, or a performance.
Projects are evaluated by judges comprised of OCC faculty, OCC staff, and professionals from other institutions. Top projects are awarded monetary prizes. Check out our previous winners HERE!
