Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP)

Our History

Since 1991, the Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP) has been preparing its students to transfer to four-year universities through an abundance of resources, services, and tools to help them achieve their 4-year university transfer goals. Over the past 30 years, TOP has been committed to providing students with a support system that will enhance their experience at Orange Coast.

THE BENEFITS

TOP requirements, resources, and support services that come in the way of counseling, academic support, registration assistance, and peer mentoring are specifically to meet the needs of first-generation college students.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE

To apply to TOP, students must:

  1. Graduated from High School the Spring (2026) prior to their first fall (2026) semester
  2. Have an interest in transferring to a four-year university.

SUBMIT YOUR INTEREST

High school seniors planning to start in Fall 2026 must submit a TOP Interest Form to be considered. 

Next Steps: Join a TOP Q&A SESSIONS

After submitting your TOP Interest Form join a TOP Q&A session to speak with a TOP Counselor and determine if the program is a good fit for you. 

In these sessions, students can: 

  • Learn about program eligibility and requirements
  • Get questions answered
  • Prepare for fall 2026 classes.
